Merry Christmas!

It's a beautiful, mostly sunny day here in the south and a brisk 70 degrees. Ridiculous for Christmas, but I'm grateful for this great weather.

It seems like the last two months of the year are the months where people show the most gratitude.

2016 has not been the greatest year on record. I know a lot of people who have had one terrible thing after another fall in their lap. I've watched it happen to some, and walked through the crap with some others. It hasn't been the best year for us, but if this is as bad as it gets for a long time (or ever) then I should count myself lucky.

While the holidays are great for some and a joyous time, there are many others who despise the holidays because of the pain and anxiety they bring. This is for you. My prayer today (and more often in the future) will be for those who don't get to celebrate and enjoy this time of year. For the people who have to work. For the people who feel forgotten. The list goes on, but please know you're not forgotten and you're not as alone as you feel.

If I can ever serve you in any way, regardless of whether you feel it's an inconvenience, please let me know. I'd love to help however I can.

Merry Christmas!
