What I've Done is Not What I Want to Do

When I graduated from college I was convinced I was headed for the typical ladder-climbing career. I've always had a lot of ambition and drive that I thought would serve me well working in video production for large companies. I had a college degree and was ready to hit the ground running.

My story ended up looking a bit different than I expected, but it's been highly beneficial for me.

But what I've come to realize over the last few years is that the work I started out doing is not the work I want to be doing 20 years from now.

Don't get me wrong, I love marketing. I find it fascinating, but I don't always want to be thinking about social media strategies, building landing pages, manually scheduling or sending out marketing emails, or paid advertising.

Those things serve as stepping stones to building bigger and better things.

I have a strong vision for where I want to go and what I want to do.

Can you say the same?

What's propelling you forward?
