Something Worth Sharing
Today, I just want to direct you to one of my favorite Seth Godin posts of all time. I have it saved and didn't want to look up the direct link so here it is:
"Here's what matters: The way your approach your work.
What have you built? What have you led? How do you make decisions? What's your reserve of emotional labor like? How do you act when no one is looking?
You are not your resume. You are the trail you've left behind, the people you've influenced, the work you've done."
These are questions worth considering.
What have you built? What are you building today? Is it worth it?
What have you led? Who have you influenced and what kind of wake have you left behind you?
Are the people you used to work with better off for it?
How do you act when no one is looking? Integrity is what you do when no one is looking. It ALL matters. Every single action you take when people aren't looking defines who you are and who you're going to be.
I really hope you'll take some time to reflect on these questions today.
